Delivering a positive user experience: features for residents

As we were building a PMS for various types of real estate, we aimed to make the app useful and convenient for property owners, tenants, and residents/employees alike.
Here are the core features we implemented for mobile app users.

When a user downloads the app, they submit an application to join the system. The administrator reviews it, assigns a role (resident, tenant, or employee), and grants access. This ensures security and proper user management while preventing unauthorized system entry.

After approval, the system generates an entry pass for residents, tenants, or employees. Our PMS supports QR codes and EAN 13 barcodes, integrating with existing security systems. Users can also request temporary passes, improving security by tracking who enters and exits.

Residents and employees can request various services, such as cleaning, courier delivery, or household maintenance. They can also call professionals, including electricians and plumbers, simplifying everyday tasks. The app ensures quick service booking with minimal effort.

We designed tailored service booking forms to improve user experience. For example, when reserving a tennis court, users can order sports gear like rackets and balls. The courier form, on the other hand, is streamlined to focus solely on delivery, making the process efficient.

Users stay updated on events within the complex and surrounding areas, including new sports centers, cafés, or community activities. This feature allows residents and employees to easily discover local amenities and stay connected with events, improving engagement.

Residents receive push notifications about scheduled repairs, power outages, or other events affecting comfort. These timely alerts keep users informed about important updates, ensuring better planning and smooth communication for everyone within the complex.
